Bright yellowish green. It is the color of a liqueur containing a medicinal herb used as the base for the brandy currently manufactured at a monastery in Grenoble, France. Its name is La Grande Chartreuse. Since the liqueur is bright yellowish green, its name came to be used as the name of a color.
complete metamorphosis (holometaboly) English
Many insects transform their bodies as they grow up from an egg to an adult. When an insect develops in four steps from an egg, to a larva, to a pupa, and to an imago (adult), the growth patterns are called complete metamorphosis or holometaboly. The insects going through complete metamorphosis are, caddis, Chironomid, crane fly, ant, bee, dobsonfly, butterfly, Asellus, and diving beetle.
Flies are made as an imitation of each stage of transformation except the egg stage.
